I had a lot of naysayers (two of them medical professionals) who strongly advised against it! But I knew I would be ok. In truth, if you calmly, politely and repeatedly tell doctors and nurses that you don’t want a drug you know you don’t need, they will go along with your request (they know they risk a malpractice suit if they don’t). It was not luck; it was knowing what to do and how to do it. Most medical professionals do not know or trust that hypnosis can work. They have to be shown! I hope my post helped you!
